Lemongrass & Rosemary Oil

What You Need:

  • 1/2 mL rosemary oil
  • 1/2 mL lemongrass oil
  • 60 mL Jojoba oil
  • spray bottle

How To Make It:

Pour the rosemary oil and lemongrass oil into the spray bottle. Add the Jojoba oil and mix well until all three oils are combined. You may need to shake the bottle multiple times before applying it to the skin as the oils can separate when stored. Apply directly to the skin.

Lavender Oil, Vanilla, & Lemon

What You Need:

  • 10 drops lavender essential oil
  • 3 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup water
  • spray bottle

How To Make It:

Mix the lavender oil and vanilla extract in a spray bottle. Add in freshly squeezed lemon juice. Finally, add in the water. Shake the bottle continuously until the ingredients are combined. Apply directly to the skin 2 to 3 times per day.

Mosquito Repellent Balm

Note: This recipe can be used as a mosquito repellent or as a soothing balm for mosquito bites.

What You Need:

  • 1/4 cup beeswax pastilles
  • 1/4 cup cocoa butter
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp castor oil
  • 15 drops citronella essential oil
  • 15 drops lemongrass essential oil
  • 15 drops eucalyptus essential oil
  • 5 drops peppermint oil
  • 5 drops geranium essential oil

How To Make It:

Use a small pan and heat it to low-medium heat. Add in the beeswax pastilles, cocoa butter, and coconut oil. Mix until thoroughly combined and then add in the essential oils. Transfer the mixture into a small mason jar. Apply to the skin as needed.

Apple Cider Vinegar

What You Need:

  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Water
  • Spray bottle
  • Your choice of essential oils (mint, tea tree, spearmint, lavender, lemon, lemongrass, clove, citronella, eucalyptus)

How To Make It:

Fill a spray bottle with 1/2 water and 1/2 apple cider vinegar. Mix in 10 to 15 drops of your preference essential oils. Mix well. Apply directly to the skin.
